विदेशों में हिंदी भाषा के प्रचार और प्रसार हेतु, भारत सरकार, भारत और विदेशों में, विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलनों का आयोजन करती रही है। यह विदेश मंत्रालय द्वारा, 3-4 वर्षों के अंतराल में, मेजबान देश और अन्य स्थानीय सांस्कृतिक और भाषाई संगठनों के सक्रिय सहयोग के साथ आयोजित किया जाता है।
As part of the promotion and propagation of Hindi language abroad, Government of India has been organizing World Hindi Conference in India and abroad. It is organized by MEA with an interval of 3-4 years, with the active support of the host country and other local cultural & linguistic organizations.
विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलनों के आयोजन का आरंभ 1975 से शुरू हुआ और अब तक भारत सहित विश्व के विभिन्न भागों में आयोजित किए जा चुके हैं। इन सम्मेलनों में मुख्य रूप से इस विषय पर विचार किया गया है कि प्रचलित विश्व परिवेश में हिन्दी कैसे मानव जाति की सेवा करने का एक माध्यम हो सकती है, और हिन्दी को संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ में कैसे एक पहचान मिले और कैसे हिन्दी को मानवता की सेवा करने वाली वैश्विक भाषा के रूप में आगे बढ़ाया जा सकता है। इन सम्मेलनों ने दुनिया भर के हिंदी विद्वानों को हिंदी भाषा और साहित्य के विकास की मुख्यधारा से परिचित कराने और विश्व की विभिन्न भाषाओं के विकास के तुलनात्मक मूल्यांकन के लिए अपने कार्यों को प्रस्तुत करने ऐव्म विचारों और सूचनाओं का आदान-प्रदान करने के लिए एक उपयोगी मंच प्रदान किया है।
The World Hindi Conferences have been organized in different parts of the World, including in India, starting from 1975. These conferences have primarily deliberated upon how Hindi could be a medium of serving mankind in the prevailing world environment and how could Hindi get recognized in the United Nations and move forward as a world language serving the cause of humanity. These Conferences have provided a useful platform to Hindi scholars from around the world for acquainting themselves with the mainstream development in the field of Hindi language and literature and to present their works, exchange ideas, views and information for comparative assessments of developments in different languages of the world.

इस वर्ष का 12वां विश्व हिंदी सम्मेलन फ़िजी में आयोजित किया जाना है। फ़िजी के उल्लेखित संविधान के अंतर्गत, हिन्दी को देश की तीसरी आधिकारिक भाषा का दर्जा प्राप्त है। हिन्दी, फ़िजी में विभिन्न भारतीय मूल के लोगों के बीच संपर्क भाषा का काम भी करती है।
The 12th World Hindi Conference is to be held in Fiji this year. Hindi, mentioned in the Constitution of Fiji is the third Official Language of the country. It is also the link language between different Indian-origin population groups in Fiji.
लोगो डिजाइन मानदंड:
Logo Design Criteria
(अ) उसे भारत-फ़िजी मित्रता को प्रतिबिंबित करना चाहिए; It should reflect the India-Fiji friendship;
(आ) यह दोनों देशों के राष्ट्रिय झंडों के रंगों को दर्शाता हो; It should reflect the colours of flags of the two countries;
(इ) भारत और फ़िजी के बीच समुद्री संपर्कों ऐव्म ऐतिहासिक संबंधों को परिलक्षित करता हो; Marine linkages and historical connections between India and Fiji should be reflected in the logo;
(ई) डिज़ाइन प्रेरणादायक होना चाहिए, महासागरों के चित्रों के द्वारा द्वीप की विशेषताओं को दर्शाते हुए विश्व में फ़िजी की भौगोलिक स्थिति को इंगित करता हो The logo should be inspirational, with illustrations that capture the oceans to represent the island features, looking at Fiji’s geographical location in the world;
(उ) फ़िजी की अनूठी राष्ट्रीय विरासत भी डिजाइन की एक विशेषता होनी चाहिए, और यह कला, शिल्प आदि के माध्यम से दिखाई जा सकती है। The unique national heritage of Fiji should also feature the logo in the way of art, craft etc.;
(ऊ) फ़िजी में हिंदी की विकास यात्रा को प्रदर्शित करता हो; The logo should showcase the journey of Hindi in Fiji;
(ए) “12वां विश्व हिंदी समेलन फ़िजी” (देवनागरी लिपि में), यह वाक्यांश प्रमुखता से लोगो मे प्रतिबिंबित होना चाहिए; The phrase “12th Vishwa Hindi Samellan Fiji” should reflect prominently in the logo (in Devanagari script);
(ऐ) लोगो केवल हिंदी भाषा में होना चाहिए; The logo is to be in Hindi ONLY
(ओ) प्रत्येक प्रविष्टि के साथ लोगो का संक्षिप्त विवरण होना चाहिए तथा लोगो ऊपर वर्णित तत्वों के सार को सर्वोत्तम रूप से समाहित करता हो। Each entry should be accompanied by a brief description of the logo and how best it encapsulates the essence of elements mentioned above.
विजेताओं के लिए पुरस्कार:
विजेता को रु 75,000 से पुरस्कृत किया जाएगा। इसके अतिरिक्त, चयन समिति की सिफारिश पर रु 10,000 की राशि के तीन सांत्वना पुरस्कार भी दिए जाएंगे। पुरस्कार की संपूर्ण 1,05,000 की राशि की पूर्ति एक्स पी डी विभाग के लोक राजनय बजट हेड से की जाएगी। पुरस्कार राशि टीडीएस की कटौती के बाद देय होगी।
The winner shall get Rs. 75,000/-. Three consolation prizes of Rs. 10,000/- each will be given on the recommendation of the Selection Committee. The prize money will be payable after the deduction of TDS.

यह प्रतियोगिता भारत और विदेशों मे स्थित सभी भारतीय नागरिकों और भारतीय मूल के लोगों को लोगो डिज़ाइन प्रस्तुत करने के लिए 21 जून से 8 जुलाई, 2022 तक MyGov पोर्टल पर उपलब्ध रहेगी।
The contest will be open to all Indian nationals and PIOs from India and abroad to submit logo design on MyGov Portal from 21 June to 08 July 2022.
